Click or dryback? We explain the difference

Click LVT and gluedown LVT are two popular ways to install flooring, each with its own advantages. Which one is best for you? That depends on your preferences and the room where you’ll be installing it. Below, we explain how it works.

Click LVT: convenient and noise-reducing

Click LVT is easy to install thanks to its convenient click system. The planks simply snap together without glue. This makes the floor ideal for renovation projects or for installing over an existing subfloor. An added benefit is that our click floors reduce impact noise by up to ten decibels. That makes them perfect for apartments or upper floors. You will hear the difference, and so will your neighbors.

Glue-down LVT: sleek, stable, and durable

With glue-down LVT, the planks are glued to a leveled subfloor. This ensures the floor is completely flat and stable. There is no movement and no raised edges. The result is a sleek, stable, and durable floor. Glue-down LVT is perfect for high-traffic areas or when combining underfloor heating with a floor that seamlessly matches the rest of your interior.
